Nara Livin was born mid-air, quite literally.

While on a flight, I couldn’t help but think about a gap I’d always felt in India’s design space. Why wasn’t there furniture and home décor that was thoughtfully designed, visually striking, yet still accessible? That moment of clarity had me reaching for a tissue and pen from the air hostess, where I began sketching the very first outlines of what would later become Nara. I even designed our logo during that flight, a mark that holds a personal meaning, created from the initials of my family members who inspire me every day.

Nara Livin comes from the same house as Nama Home, a design-first brand known for its bold, statement-making objects inspired by everyday living. As the sister brand, Nara was created to complement this vision—offering a wider range of minimal, versatile, and functional pieces designed for everyday use, while staying mindful of pricing and accessibility.

From that day onward, Nara has been about more than just products. It’s about creating timeless pieces that carry a sense of calm, warmth, and belonging. Our philosophy is rooted in making good design approachable, crafted with care, designed with intention, and priced to feel within reach.

We work with skilled makers who have been with us for over a decade, bringing together craftsmanship and contemporary sensibilities. Each product is designed to be versatile yet statement-making, helping you create spaces that feel personal, inviting, and truly your own.

At Nara, we believe a home is not just where you live, but where your stories unfold—and our designs are meant to be part of those stories. Extending this vision beyond individual homes, the Nara Contract Division allows us to create bespoke pieces for larger spaces, from hotels and restaurants to offices and private projects, bringing the same thoughtfulness and care to every scale of design.
